Atatiana’s Jefferson’s life was taken at their family home on Oct. 12 2019 by a Fort Worth police officer while she was playing video games with her 8 year old nephew. The family is turning their home where the tragedy took place into a community STEM education center in Fort Worth, TX and calling it the Atatiana Project.
